There will be approximately 2.5 to 3 hours per week engaging with K-12 teachers and K-12 students at our partner K-12 schools for a total of 20 hours over the quarter. School visits begin week 2 of the quarter.

Negative TB test or risk assessment is required for in-person visits at the K-12 schools.

Pre-requisites: You should have completed at least one course from the following list: Science Education 1XP, 10XP, 15XP, or Math 73XP, 74XP, 75XP, or completed a Cal Teach Summer Internship. Or permission from Faculty Director of Cal Teach.

First seminar meeting is during first week of classes. Seminar meetings are in-person and attendance is required for entire period.

School internships begin second week of classes. All 24 hours need to be completed by the end of finals week of Winter Quarter.

Placements are planned to be in-person.
